... wat filter are u using... i have the monster flow rite now and i tried to clean it as it says on the cleaning process portion on the bottle... and it says to take the 2 filters apart... but mine didn't do that and seems like its stuck... its full of salt crap and other crap.... jus need to know wat other filters u guys use along with part number...

I have the monsterflow too, but I've honestly been too lazy to clean it correctly. I pretty much just stick a hose down inside and spray the crap and debris out of the foam, and then re-apply the sticky stuff.

Terrible answer, I know....

i did however speak to brian... and he told me that the k&n air filter model number ru-2820 are much better than the monster flow as far as air flow goes... but for local stores selling them... its hard to find... i just called about 25 stores... btw how long after washing it did u spray that tacky stuff on... considering u did dry it up by squishing 2 towels together to absorb the water

I just sprayed a bunch of it on and stuck it back on the car. I think it was a couple hours before I drove it. Total slacker I am. I want to get a different filter anyhow, so I don't have to deal with all that sticky messy crap...

I don't think it really matters. It's not going to clog the filter or make it all the way up to the engine anyhow.
