P0507 solved yet again

i had the dreaded p0507 high idle rpm as many people have had on here.
i know there has been fixes, i just wanted to add insight as to what solved mine. as you all very well know the code is caused because the throttle body sensed a foreign substance entered it. thus throwing a code that cannot be erased by the steps in the sticky. i talked to a local dealer and let him know the situation and how much i thought it was a rip for us to have to pay because of something nissan caused in the first place, i think the conversation actually helped. he only charged me $49 for a consult ecu reset + consult idle air relearn procedure and 30 minutes later my idle was perfect... 750-800 and the car runs so much nicer. just thought i would let you guys know that the consult yet again fixed the p0507

Glad you got your issue fixed....

Did you notice that your transmission had a downshifting surge that many of us have had after getting this code? If so, did that problem go after after the consult ecu reset? I got the code to go way and the idle back to normal but still experience the engine surging while I slow down to a stop.

yep, almost seemed like the car bucked back a little before it stopped completely? thats what i had regarding that issue. i tell you what though i swear by this... i bet you we lost 5-8 mpg because of that code... im getting really good gas mileage again like i use to... 360-400 miles per tank... when i had that code i was only getting like 250-300 miles per tank
