Does Cattman Y-pipe have a distinctive sound
Hi,
I'm considering getting a Cattman y-pipe to replace my precat. If I leave everything else in the exhaust stock, will the sound change at all?
Thanks.

Just ran down and recorded a quick clip...check it.

Btw, which pre-cat is bad? Your 2001 should be Cali spec and only the rear precat is in the y-pipe. The front precat is between the front exhaust manifold and the y-pipe, so replacing the y-pipe won't do anything to help that.

So I figured rather than buying a new precat for $460 I could just buy the y-pipe for $350, which I thought replaces the precat. Do I have this right? I wish someone could clarify this for me. Thanks.
