Anyone with a 5th gen swap their engine with a 5.5 gen? If so, were there any problems afterwards and any down side to the process? Since its OEM to OEM I would think it should be fine but anything wrong with this?

 

No....there shouldn't be. You might want to search what the 4thgen guys do.

damn im a newbie here and even i have seen this covered here already.

 

i got an 01 with a 3.5 infini engine. there is no big prob just had to buy a afc to control the ecu and buy o2 simulators
