After Markt Headlights with Philips balast?

I know that aftermarket headlights can be a gamble, but I found some on eBay that have the philips balast, any thoughts?

I bought mines from ebay I dunno what people hate on but quality is great, light output just sucks YES VERY TRUE, but if you retro its pretty good, no need to do any custom shrouds

^^^ can we some some flics. as stated above i was interested in these but it seems like the best step is to buy the housing and the hid kit seperately... it seems most cats upgrade there lights anyway. i dont mine the factory lights, but are the phillips that much suckier?

I think you are talking about the projectors... They are talking about "Depot" 02-03 OEM style HID's.

The Depot ballasts are different from OEM ballasts.

i think the headlight itself plays a much bigger role than the bulbs/ ballasts itself. The cutoff and glare are all depended on the headlight itself.. So I would rather get an OEM headlight and put Aftermarket HID kit in for a much better effect. But for best results, get them at courtesyparts.com! :-)

For one... It's DEPO not depot

And two... The output on them is horrible compared to OEM
I have one depo and one nissan. The Nissan lamp is so much brighter and clearer. But the DEPOs would be fine if you were using both sides as DEPOs and not half and half. I am getting ready to do a retrofit here shortly. I have to order my new headlights. I will post pictures when the time comes.

Thanks crucial max for answering the question, and the name of the eBay store is performance DEPOT Inc. and thats why we are referring to them as the depots with a t. Since you are the only one who answered any of my questions, ill let that go. I will probably try to find some oems. Thanks.

Also, ikalinin I agree, it would be easier/better to buy them from courtesy, but im in college and there is a $750 price difference, so I thought that would be worht it to consider

Maxboost- thanks for the info, the ballasts on the depots are phillips, which I think is a pretty good brand for lighting stuff

Gaby- thanks for keeping this thread alive

I got into an accident and those are what I got and I think they work well. The only downside is that they kept getting moisture in them so i had to get a new set under warrenty.
