Front Bearings: hub+bearing or bearing only?

Hey guys,

There was a post discussing wheel bearings and some people chimmed in stating that the Maximas front bearing comes with the hub assembly and that you replace the assembly all at once.

I just placed a order with Dave B. for my front bearings and he said the bearings come by itself, with no hub assembly.

I just want to confirm that, though I am sure Dave has the Nissan parts software right in front of him, I know maxima.org is also a reliable source of info.

Anyone that has actually done the front bearings and want to clarify?

DaveB is correct.

The bearing and hub are two different parts. They do not come as an "assembly."

Usually it's the rear bearings on FWD cars that come with hub/bearing assembly as one peice.

You are right, it seems like org memebers were referring to the rear bearings....

Thanks!
