Those are pretty convincing videos. Who knows how the fitment will be. It doesn't look like they will flex at all.

Whatever you do, do NOT get a body kit off of ebay. Their fitment is terrible and will never look very good. I am not just saying this because I heard it from a friend or a friend of a friend...I know from personal experience. I bought an ebay kit once and I spent almost 20 hours working on the thing (just the front and side skirts) and it never really fit quite right. Most of the time they are just cheap knockoffs of the real thing. If you want a body kit then get the JDouble0 kit. Here is the link for it... http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=460873.

My friend has a GLE with the Anniversary Edition (AE) kit. The rear section comes in three pieces, not counting the splash guards. He only attached the left and right pieces and not the middle. I've seen only one other 5th gen that's done this. The idea of attaching only the left and right piece is like the ion dynamics rear kit on the 4th gen. There is no middle section. The AE kit is expensive and kinda hard to come by unless someone is selling it in the classifieds. Not sure what kind of look you're going for but best bet is to get a Stillen.

There are two different styles of front lips.

o, u have the stilen aero kit... i thought the aero kit is a body kit and the lip kit is something different. so with the SAME kit u have, u still have to get it painted to match ur car and installed, around how much do these things cost. thanks bro. i really am gonna get ur kit lol.

also

also i see that u have 19 inch rims with ur body kit, im still deciding whether i want to put rims on my car first or a body kit, i LOVE the way the car looks with the aero kit but rims are rims. but everyone keeps telling me nething bigger than 18 inches with a stock suspension setup will crucify my ride, considering it is already not that good. wat wud i need to get to make my ride smooth even with 20 inch or 19 inch rims on it. cuz i keep asking this question elsewhere but NO ONE seems to be able to answer me without being an *******. thanks for ur help man..

I'm sure you wouldn't want to be driving on Brooklyn roads with 19s or 20s. 18s would be your best bet. In fact I'm looking for something more light weight. Probably 18s as well.

Rims first or body kit first, it's your call. Do you have suspension done? Get that first.

no its stock but its just the principle that it doesnt do nething that "looks" good its just for the ride, the damn ride shud already come good, (im just being real picky) but if i get rims even 18s ii basically NEED a suspension upgrade is wat ur saying otherwise the roads would kill me right?
also if i just do the whole body kit thing would i need a suspension upgrade? wat are some of the cons of having a body kit, mind u i live in BK do alot of city driving

You took over this guys thread and started a new one of your own asking the same thing?

You need a suspension upgrade for ride quality and to fill up the gap in between your fenders and rim. Body kit is replacing your entire bumper and sides. Where as the lip kit attaches to your existing bumpers.

You've got 77 post... I hope they aren't all like this. Pay your dues and start searching. It will save you a lot of face.

i've also been looking at body kits and here's one that i think looks good:

http://www.showoffparts.com/abv-00nsmax4dr34-001.html

http://www.grounddynamics.com/Templa...ubFolderId=408

saw one car on cardomain that had this kit. i'm pretty sure it doesn't come with the lights or the lip...

I like the front bumper and sideskirts, but the rear bumper is ugly. From personal experience DONT get fiberglass ever, I have seen friends hit big puddles on the freeway and crack there kits. The other night I hit a sand bag going 65mph on highway 26 and my stillen urithane kit didn't even brake. it was so big that it scratched the sh!z all the way up the side of my touring style lip. All I have to do is repaint the lip not buy a new one.
