**random But Important Please Help**

*FIRST OFF, IM A NOOB SO BARE WITH ME*
alright this is it... i have the 02 GLE stock everything. Now i was thinking of getting some 20 inch rims on it but I hear its not even possible to put 20s on this car, is that true? if so, wat about 19s? can someone explain the difference of rides on 20s versus 19s coming from stock rims and a stock suspension setup like mine. the ride quality is already pretty bad on mine over bumps, doesnt feel to stable wat will change? if possible, wat can i get to make it ride better EVEN with 19s or 20s on it?

Now another question... I was thinking of getting a body kit too if i dont get the rims, now i was wondering, does a body kit come pre painted cuz i never knew, if not, is the proper way to install a body kit to buy one, then get it painted and THEN get it put on? also if i wanted to purchase a spoiler because i dont have a spoiler on mine will that come painted?

*!*Thanks alot, everyones feedback is greatly appreciated*!*

20's will fit, but your ride quality will go down because you have less sidewall on the tire, so you will feel more bumps. suspension wise maybe some kyb gr-2 struts or if you want to be able to adjust them get tokico illumina's.

there aren't many options for body kits on a maxima, i would suggest a lip kit from stillen or the max tunning front lip. and yes they come unpainted and you get them painted and put them on.

as for the spoiler i don't think you can buy one that is painted, unless you find someone that has taken their's off that is the same color as yours. if you want to buy a spoiler i have mine from my car since i took it off a year ago. let me know.

where can i see this lipkit? ive searched and cant find anything on it. and NO i would NOT want to adjust my shocks or springs, i dont see a point in that being im a noob and i dont have time or money to pay people to adjust it all the time, if suspension was where i was searching id want something with QUALITY that works and doesnt require maitenance. if thats possible lemme know. Also, so is there a big difference between 19s and 20s on my car, if so what? also wen getting rims whether there 19 or 20s what did u say is the best thing to get so i DONT notice a decrease in ride quality because my ride quality is already horrible i cant imagine it getting any worse.
also your spoiler, is it the same color as mine, i have the titanium edition (that dark dark grey looks like blackish color)? if it is ill buy it. help me with everything. thanks man.

well to start.. im shocked u havnt gotten flamed yet lol but.. check this out man i think its ur best bet for a new painted spoiler.. my buddy bought one for his rsx and it came pretty mint...
http://www.spoilerdepot.com/Catalog.asp?A=11&S=

also i would check out the 5th gen for sale forum and make a post WTB spoiler KV3 of w/e ur paint code is

also,.. look in the stickys on the 5th gen form and go into the one that says SEARCH BEFORE YOU POST(EDIT: just saw that acid jake beat me to it,.. utilize it) ,.. and type in 20's or w/e and u will find something.. also do the same for lip kits.. or try stillen.com... g/l

oh yeah.. personal opinion= 20's

id highly recomend against going so big, even 19s are too big, especially in brooklyn. id go with big rims in florida where the roads are nice. but i think 18 is big enough.

people think that if they use the "FIRST OFF, IM A NOOB SO BARE WITH ME" disclaimer that they dont have to follow the rules and they wont get flamed. using that line makes it worse...it lets us know that you realize you arent following the rules.

This is your first and last warning to chill out, start reading the forum rules and Stickied threads, and search before you post. Thanks.

dmpesso - you need to chill.

There are certain rules to follow or you will banned by the moderators.

I would suggest you check out with some local nissan groups, I think NYC Maxima or similar. They may have some advise about wheels and body kits that interest you?

As others have already said... big wheels will hurt your ride and performance. Another thing to consider is pot holes and road conditions that may quickly ruin your wheels.

Besides what everyone says about ride quality, 20 inch rims just look TERRIBLE on a maxima, I don't care what generation. I wouldn't go higher than 18, personally. Check out certain posters car domain sites. I am thinking of one 6th Gen with 20's on this board and it looks ridiculous.17-18 = perfect.

The size of your rims is a matter of preference. You may like the look of 20's," as I do," but a lot of people don't.

If your ride quality is what you are truly interested in then you may want to look for 18's. I had 20's and I dealt with the conditions but then again I live in Fla. so it isn't bad. Where as in NY every other turn is a pot hole so be mindful of that.

By the way... don't get into pissin contest on here, just not worth the carpal tunnel.
