Door Noise problem
Does anyone have a quick fix short of dynamating the doors to keep them from vibrating when the volume is up on a song with some bass? i tried to put some weather stripping and silicone but it seemed not to help and kinda made it worse.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Your door speakers aren't exactly powerful...

I would turn up the music...isolate the sound..mark the point..and then take off the door panel to see where it was...it could be a harness tapping OR it could infact be a blown speaker...
Try those things out..if it doesnt work just post here again
***also if you can, if you have a friend, get him to come over and listen to where its coming from as well ....2 head are better than one...***

Bang on the panel at different spots with your fist and then it should lead you to the area.
All you need is a little bit of time

one of the tabs is probably broken. you could just use 3M double sided tape between the panel and the door

To make it easier to isolate vibrations you can buy a test tone cd, or make your own - there's a zip file at the link below that has a series of slowly sweeping sine wave tones. It's for measuring freq. response, but should work pretty well for finding vibrations.

I ended up just stuffing some cloth material into the door in the gap under the switch panel and it took care of it mostly. There are still some rattles elsewhere but W/E i can deal with them.
