Info on Big Brake Kits?

Hey,

Im looking into getting better calipers for my 2k1 max. Now i ask myself why get another set of REGULAR CALIPERS? I already have Powerslot slotted rotors and hawk pads.

My real question is SHOULD I GET BIGGER CALIPERS, or should i find better calipers...and in terms of calipers i couldnt find better Aftermarket calipers on the net for my car....NONE OTHER THAN OEM eqivelants

But as far as big brake kits goes...i want to keep my rotors and change the calipers. Would i need wheel spacers, or what other mods would i need to perform?

thanks for an info fellas

Check with SSBC: http://www.stainlesssteelbrakes.com/...ers/superTwin/

I have change my front brake for the Twin piston and I only have good words as my car brake much better than with the stocker. BTW they have an application for the maxima, installation was fairly easy.

What is the purpose of Maxima.org if members (noobs) interested in any type of upgrade can't even look forward to the support of his/her experienced members for advice or just to lead them into in some kind of direction the get them started?

I am not the experienced or knowledgable when it comes to "MODs" but slowly and surely I am getting there. I look forward to the advice from the org members so I won't feel that the dealer is ripping me off or purchase the best product for what I am looking for.

You guys make it quite clear that we should "Search before starting a new thread " but sometimes we still have questions are left unanswered. Hence, I am hoping for the org member to educate me about my vechile which I love driving so much.

I am also looking to getting a big brake kit but I didn't find any concrete results. Here is a website that I fould knowledgable http://www.racingbrake.com/MAXIMA_s/4364.htm hope it helps.
