Looking for some help/advice ...
Just checking to see if anyone's had this happen to their 2000 SE ...
Got the SES light of course, SLIP light and TCS off light, and the engine ran roughly, the whole floor was vibrating. I know, I need to take it and have the codes read, but didn't have the time tonight, for the Mrs. had a meeting, and I had to watch the kids. On the way home, the SES light started to flash too, but after I made it home, it stopped flashing. Prior to this happening, the car was in storage for 2-3 months with the occasional start.
Yes, the car is going in tomorrow, but I was just wondering if any one else had a similar problem, just looking for a heads up I guess.
Thanks!!
UPDATE:
The Mrs. came home early, so I was able to get out to Checkers Auto, and yup the dreaded P1320, P0302 and some Transmission code which the scanner couldn't read. Are the Transmission codes hidden and only the dealer has access to?
After a few restarts, the SLIP and TCS off lights are no longer constantly on, I guess that's good news, but the transmission code(s) is quite bothersome!!

Changed the coil on cylinder #2.
Seems like Checkers Auto and Reilys Auto have better scanners than Autozone and Advanced Auto, I went to all 4 places. Anyhow in the middle of the commute, the SLIP and TCS off lights came back on, and the engine runs like crap again. Running like crap meaning it runs rough, shakes(almost mini earthquake like), stutters in R or D, especially at a stop light, and under 1200-1500 rpm, almost feels like it's going to stall. If I give it some gas, then it's not so noticeable. Oh yeah, picked up a pending code today, P0300. More bad coils? MAF possibly? Well, it's going to the dealer on Friday.
Any comments anyone?

well my guess would be another coil, but the reality is it could be a bunch of crap w a1320/0300 ... i read somewhere you could do the guess and check method 'at your own risk',... if the car is idleing like crap and shaking then there must be a misfire,.. so pop the hood and start pullin each sensor one by one and if the idle stays the same then there is your coil..?worth a shot if the codes arnt directing you,.. or if money isnt an issue go buy 5 new coils
and an MAF lol
and an MAF lol
alenhard- it wasnt me that had the problem at the time, it was mints33, an idk what happened to him,...also idk what yr/auto/std. car u have, (makes a difference lol)
but to help u out some,.. i had to replace i think 3 coils ? 2 in front 1 in rear, and no problems since, but my codes were directing me to which coils,... if i were to do it again i would just change all 6 and call it a day,..
also on a side note to ur ?,.. i had to replace my MAf like many others and i did not have a code for it,.. so depending on what you have (codes/nocodes/car shutting off/ wont rev/ rev's jumping while shifting/ect) you might be able to diag ur problem,.. but if ur 00-01 and on a stock maf with over 60ish k u might need a new maf.... hope i answered something for u sorry about the rambling

Didn't touch the MAF.

he said "I replaced" so maybe that means he did it?? and maybe he replaced to a colder plug??

Nah, didn't make it to the dealership, I've had not so great experience w/ them, so I decided not to go. Instead, I ordered 5 new coils and 6 new plugs from Dave B. Yes, I replaced the plugs for a second time, I figured why not, since 6 plugs equals the price of 1 coil, or not even. And the first time I replaced the plugs, they were bought locally from different sources, so maybe some were from a bad batch? For under 60 bucks for the plugs, I figured it was worth it. ****? Yeah ... but oh well ...
