Thoughts on Technosquare and throttle response

Sorry this is so long.. I have an 02 6 speed
I've been reading all the old threads about technosquare in the 5th gen forum and the newer one in the 6th gen forum and still can't seem to get a definite answer if it's worth buying.
Tek-Nik got about 15+ hp on his 04 from the TS ECU flash.
Post said the throttle will now open 100% at WOT
and you get a more aggressive advance timing curve.
People are saying the throttle won't open to 100% because nissan didn't want alot of torque steer?
Anyway I'm pretty sure my throttle barely opens up to 80% nevermind 100%. It seems like theres 2 settings on the throttle slow and fast. 1/4 throttle is slow and anything after that is I'm guessing about 80%. Push the throttle past 1/4 to WOT and it feels like its at 80% the whole time. In 1st or 2nd gear on rare occassions a romp on the pedal gets up to about 80% with a very slight hesitation, but most times it feels like it only reaches about 60% with alot of hesitation in theory because it's tuned to do that to reduce torque steer and get better MPG?? Will the reflash from TS fix that? The 6th gens are getting G35 and "modified 350z" programs etc. Maybe the L Spec reflash can fix it? Heck maybe even a reflash from the dealer might fix it?
I'm thinking my best option is to do the L Spec and then get a vafc2 to adjust the AFR on a dyno. But I'll be pissed if I get the LSpec and it doesn't fix the throttle problem.
BTW the thing that really made me notice this is I drove my wifes 03 corolla and that thing was insanely responsive to any movement on the throttle.

It has been proven that it does open 100%, TS or not. It's semi laggy at first, but after the first WOT burst, it wakes up. I wouldn't be talking %'s if you have no tools to monitor said conditions

I think something else might be wrong with your car.

I really don't feel like posting links, but the facts about the 100% opening are out there.

1 person has recorded/monitered data and saw nothing differnt pre and post TS.

2 othersd have seen 100% throttle opening with the stock ECU.

Have you tried the throttle closed learning procedure and IAVL?

You can feel 80 %...the factory ecu does open the throttle 95-100% but after 5,500 rpms it begins to reduce throttle opening till redline...down to about 80%. You may have an issue with the ETC not fully opening the throttle and a reflash would not correct a faulty ETC. They typically throw a CEL if the throttle plate isn't opening properly.

Here's a nice post.

I've also noticed if I d/c the battery and/or TB, it takes a trip or 2 in order to get back to 100%.
But it can be fixed instantly by doing the TPCLP & IAVL

Was the first one taken from a 5.5 gen ECU? I think it's only the Z and G35 ECUs that close the throttle.

Also, cars that have had the hesitation TSB done dont do what 6 speed hayes' car does.

As for the throttle response, it is a bit more crisp with the TS. Will you gain HP alone from it, no. However, when combined with headers and a manifold, the additional timing advance will allow you to get a bit more power.

1st is an an A33B ECU in an A32.

I need to take some logs from my car and compare them to the above logs.

I didn't notice anything when I got my TS ECU, aside from the 7100 rev limit. I did notice, however, a beastly attitude when under the influence of 100 octane.

My timing is ~ 32* @ wot. Not sure how that compares to other A33B's.
