I have a single disc Cd player that came from the factory and I bought it used, the Cd player has since pissed me off because it displays F3 ERROR and I can't get the Cd out and can't listen to it at all, I have read stories and it appears that noone on this planet knows what Error F3 is or how to fix it. If anyone knows what I can do without purchasing a new deck I would greatly appreciate it, the car has over 100K miles on it now so now hope of cheap replacement just fixing it!!!

 

it can be fixed but Im sure its a tedious process to even get the CD out, let alone getting it to work right after getting the CD out. just go to crutchfield and get a MP3 player for about 130 and install it yourself. you get a better head unit and you just need one cd and have like 5 or 6 cd's on it. I still have my old head unit and its still shows error. Oh well my ALPINE makes up for it.

 

biglux, go on Ebay and buy one from an 03, I saw one for sale recently for less than $200 plus it was the 6 pack in dash CD changer as well. Or you can send it to the Factory Stereo Repair shop in Orlando FL, do a google search for their information.
