my 01 maxima i had the mechanic put new OEM sumitomo pads and had the front rotors resurfaced. the rotors are brembo's blank not sure if they are OEM i got them from groupdeals.ok now the issue is when i drive slow and aproach to a stop signs i can hear the whistles sound that comes from front brakes. i can hear it more often and more loud when i am making a very slow turn and pressing the brake softly. its loud enuff to catch people's attention. it only develops with soft braking not when i brake hard. i have already put couple of 100's miles on the brake. rotors seems to be fine, what can cause this whistling sound even though the brakes are new. could it be becuz of no anti squeal grease behind pads?
