Sad to see that the Nissan will cut production of the Maxima to help boost the new Altima. It is obvious that the current Maxima is in a "lame duck" period, and we probably won't get a true flagship until 2003. What will this new flagship be, nobody knows. I have to say that Nissan has a lot of cojones, change has been difficult but hopefully for the better, let's hope they don't ruin the Maxima in the process. I

Well, if the new maxima is going to be larger and heavier than the current one, then the Altima would be the way to go. I don't want a land yacht....
