noobs are noobs because you people allow them to act that way.

people dont allow them to do anything. they will do what they want to do. and it seems like you have a control issue.

like i have always said, they will continue to do it if people make them think its ok.
if EVERYONE worked together to prevent this, this wouldnt be an issue. they would realize that if they start this type of thread they wont get an answer. but every time...they get their answer. they keep doing it and other new people see it and do the same thing.

Noobies don't read the rules. They find the forum searching for answers to their problems and sign up to ask away. There is only one way to have its members educated and it is to have the rules read before sign up and let them pass a short test before allowing to sign up. It makes perfect sense and I have seen it done but it would decrease the number of signups drastically and people just take their business somewhere else. Just like years ago when 56K was mainstream, if the page didn't load within 15 seconds the person was gone. Even with current rules of not being to make new threads untill you get 15 posts, lots of people never come back after signup. They find other forums and bash the BIG org for ridiculous rules. I myself signed up at couple of boards but stick here because this is the most loaded off all. There is a reason why they call it the BIG ORG

From what I have seen, noobs eventually do catch up with the ethics and stick to the rules. You are not going to see a person with more than 100 posts asking questions that have just be answered. Unless they are 'tarded

Why does it matter if it was a donating member or not? Donating doesnt mean much anyone can donate $20. What do donating members have more credibility just because they donated $20?
