Not sure about home depot but RadioShack comes to mind. They also have some very fancy connectors that will allow you to make the grounding kit better than the once you can buy. As far as gauge, buy the thickest (low gauge #s) you can afford.

Have fun and if you know how to solder, do it by all means instead of just crimping.

I would say 8 gauge would be fine you could use 4 if you wanted to. and yes solder the connections you should make it the best you can because the whole point of the mod is to acquire good grounding.

Help? Hardly...I don't even have an RSTB.
All I did was search for "RSTB"...and you can do the same: http://forums.maxima.org/payments.php

We were all noobies at some point and this forum need to be noobie friendly because otherwise they go elsewhere ( I won't advertise other forums here ) and we loose great potential and miss the great mods, writeups, deals etc. Come on guys, you write more busting the guys ***** then it would take to simply tell the guys which gauge. Welcome to the forum Andy

you asked in the correct location...thats what that thread is for.
there is rarely a need for a donating member to start a new thread asking a question...especially something like this.
