Exhaust customization....opinions

After I have spent my time reading thoroughly through the stickies and other posts I have seen my opinions and options taken for strictly mufflers. I plan on running 3 to 2.5 after the y. (have to lift it again, and do a final check) I noticed that Warp speed, Magnaflow, flowmaster were just some of the mufflers chosen. Being a metal-worker, I'm going to customize my Max to have a rear double stacked (side by side) exhaust. I'm going to bend a pipe and add another dual tip on the left side as well as the original double on the right side. I have listened to many clips, but many are cat back set-ups.

My question is your opinion on the deepest sounding muffler???

why are you running 3" pipe? That will only help things if you are FI. Otherwise, it will probably hurt performance by slowing the exhaust gas velocity...

Yeah, thats why I was considering just 2.5. I dont have enough to jump to a 3inch, nor do i plan to rebuilt to reach that point. Thanks though for your insight, much apprecited.

For the Others I have the AE edition, and I will custom the bumper to fit the outlets.

Like I said in the previous statement, I read them all, but I only found people with magnaflow, flowmaster and warp speed mufflers. Some of the clips didn;t work, and I wanted anyones opinion on a deep clean sounding muffler. Not one like a cracked out weed wacker

Cattman / Frankencar would be your best options.

Get in touch with Cattman in the GD section and pick up a Cattman setup.
