ther is a maxima in my area, 4th gen, i think, and it's got these aluminum things... kind of cool, isn't it.

I just painted my upper radiator supports black and they look fine

some people (bluesbrekr) polishes his but that takes more time and effort to keep it looking good.

 

its just fancy radiator hold down...a pointless thing to me (the fancy ones)

mine are silver and hold the radiator just fine

I think hacking up your engine cover would be more a of a waste of time and money I'd rather spend money on the tie downs. they look clean and well made

lol...dude whatever. LOL. Personally I like the engine cover..AND I also like the radiator clamp thing with maxima written on it. Im all for performance but I also like looks. Atleast both ideas are original.

didn't you powdercoat your valve cover? How is that less of a waste of time than modifying the engine cover, exactly?

im kinda diggin that engine cover, i cant believe the bracket for the intake is holding, mine broke pretty damn quick! guess the motor mounts i bought 2 years ago should go in

Yeah, I've seen only one NA or FI Max with a MAF tube right by the radiator like that, and I saw it in person, so its sort of hard to forget.
