Trunk Lid

Can anyone please take a picture of the bottom edge of the trunk lid?

When it's raining hard i'm getting water in the trunk, i couldn't figure out where it's coming from, but then looked on the edge of my trunk lid and there are four square holes in it. what are they for? is there a weather stripping that attaches to them?

Thanks in advance for your help !

Hmm... interesting... From the shop manuals the only holes on the trunk lid are the ones for the trunk lid trim to be clipped in.

One more thing to check are your sunroof drain pipes that go out along the side of the trunk itself.

Can you provide more information as to where is the rain water collecting?

Which sections of the trunk feel wet i.e. sides and center or towards the edge etc...

The only 4 sqaure holes are for the trunk room rear plate that sits right on the body side of the car and not the trunk lid.

Maybe you can take pics of your trunk lid and share?

however still wondering what those square holes are for, i'll take a picture tonight when i get home...they are on the bottom edge of the trunk lid, seem like holes for molding or something...

I have a leak too. Water collects on the left and right side of the trunk.
You could drain it by openning rubber plugs under the car.
Any ideas what could it be?
