Bar's Leaks products to help 5.5 gen oil burn/loss?
So I was watching Speed TV and one of the shows advertised Bar's Leaks products and one in particular was supposed to fix engine oil leakage. So I got curious and checked out the website. Here are the products I gathered and wanted to know which one would be best to use:
http://www.barsproducts.com/1050.htm
http://www.barsproducts.com/E10L.htm
http://www.barsproducts.com/1000.htm this one looks good as it stops leaks and burning
http://www.barsproducts.com/4416.htm this one looks good as well b/c I read that the oil for our car escapes b/c of the bad rings on the pistons
Im going to give these products a shot..who knows

no product made to "prevent oil consumption and burning" will work.
trust me....i have tried several including the Bar product. they did nothing to reduce my burning.
i have a thread in the all motor forum about my plan to replace the rings.

read what is says
Bar's Leaks Engine Oil Stop Leak is specially designed to seal leaks caused by normal engine wear and age.
Helps stop leaks due to drying, hardening or shrinking of engine oil seals and gaskets.
our problem isnt caused by normal wear or dried seals...its the rings
