Movin' on up...

Hey guys, just gloating and letting you all know that I have made the move from the 4th gens up to the 5.5 gens! Just purchased a 2002 SE 6 speed with a navigation and all options. I know quite a bit about them, but if anyone has any special tips I would appreciate any help. Feels good to be a 5th genner!

Have fun with it... but only watch out for the veterans on this site.. the most common answer you will find to any of your questions will be "You need to search"

Here is a sweet 10 page thread about the oil problem some of the 02s (including myself) have been suffering. If you're not, be thankful.

Did you mean in the 5th-gen forum, or the "site", as in the .ORG? He's been here since 2003...

I'll post pics when I pick the car up. I'm flying out to get it this weekend. Yes it literally has every option, it was originally a custom order for a nissan exec. from washington. It's basically the car of my dreams! It is tinted and I am going to put some black deep dish 18s on it by next spring. Gonna do something with the side markers whether that be clears or smoked lenses. Other than that I'm keepin it clean, no performance mods (at least thats what im telling myself)

hahaha I got it for 14k. I believe it does have HLSD. Not to beat a dead horse but yes TE is an 03 thing, this is an 02. It was a nissan exec's car who obviously had good taste in options. On a side note, is the navi from 02 CD-ROM or DVD based? Car will be in my garage by Sunday, pics shortly.

You will do fine here if you read the Stickies and search before posting so I don't have clean up so much....

Just picked it up yesterday....pleasantly surprised it does have HLSD, as well as the wheels are upgraded to TE's! No 3rd gear issue to speak of, and no signs of oil burning after the 800 mile trek. I LOVE THIS CAR! Worth every penny and then some. Oh yeah, and I've already had the time to leave a smartass with an RSX-S in the dust. Take that, honda.
