Clear spoiler Lights
Clear spoiler Light
I have done some research but tend to keep drawing up blanks. It seems that every link I click for it is no longer available. I am trying to find a spoiler light with a clear lense. My tail lights are clear (which is illegal and most of y'all don't care for) but I'm trying to find the spoiler light to match. If one of you guys could point me in the appropriate direction or to a company that sells them, it would be much appreciated.
BTW... I used the free search but didn't seem to find anything.
Thanks in advance

Look in the How-To stickies before making a new thread.

I actually looked at these already. They show how to do it but not where to get the clear lense.
this link (which is out of the cardomain page from the stickies) doesn't work.
I'm not asking how to do it... I am asking where to buy it.
Thanks for trying to help though.

you're looking for this....

- you need to dremel off both inner tabs
- preference if you want to dremel off the outer 2 cause the holes don't line up.
- you attach with glue or something
- you need to drill a hole dead center inside the spoiler so that the wire can go through.
i had this. water got inside the system, it started rusting, and every few months the glue would unstick and it wanted to fall off. i eventually swapped it back and just left it stock.
good luck.

I had this spoiler light on my car as well. After a few years, condensation started building up inside the lamp after every rainy day or car wash. I had then swapped it out and put the factory one on. Also, the led's on the spoiler light aren't as bright during the day. As far as the installation, I had dremeled all the tabs off and glued some tabs from an old factory spoiler light to give it that easy custom install. This way, I didn't have to glue the light to the spoiler...but I did have to drill a small hole for the wiring. Here is a pic of mine when it was installed on the car. Overall, it looks good for show, but tends to take a beating on wear and tear.
ive had this clear spoiler light on for 3 years and never had a porblem with water getting into it and it still looks brand new. I also never had to modify it at all just directly put it in, but i also had an aftermarket spoiler that i thought was OEM but the only difference is the tabs which im my case worked out great for this clear light install.
