LTB stage one installation.
LTB stage one installation.
Hey,
I'm about to tackle this in about an hour or so, but have no clue how to do so. bought the bar brand new, but a fellow orger, so no instructions.
It looks pretty straight forward from pics of installed bars.
just remove the huge nuts, put on bar, and retighten? I have 2 nuts that the seller included.
any idea to what to torque them to?
Installing the bar when the car's front is jacked, is this ok?
Let me know, let me know, thanks!
t-minus 1 hour till install!

The stage 1 is super-easy to install....all you do is remove the control arm nut, and loosen the lower bush pin bolts (4 in a row, you'll see what I'm' talking about). Slide the bar on. Tighten bush pin bolts Snug, but do not torque down control arm nut yet. Lower car to ground. Torque down control arm nut now. Done.
this is stage 2...so just follow half of it http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=325407

thanks for the links...
i couldn't install it today, ran into problem getting at the passenger side nut.
My socket wouldn't clear the auto tranny... so i couldn't get at it..
I figured i could use a wrench to loosen it, but there was no way in hell i could tighten it back... due to the way the ltb is designed..
any ideas...?
i guess a lower profile socket set could work...
