i've asked this question in other fog threads as well, but no one has answered. I am lookin at some nokya arctic white fogs, but it states specifically that they are STAGE II fogs. From what i've read, this means they pull a higher wattage, which could melt harnesses and junk. Anyone dealt with anything of the sorts? I have been unable to find a heavy duty h3 harness. Anyone care to shed some light for me? tia

GBAUER has some that look pretty good and put out good light. I'm not sure if he's still banned or not, but shoot him a PM.

are you looking for nicer light output, or just nicer looking fog lights?

I bought some Silverstar bulbs for my fogs - they give off a nice light. Very clean, non-yellowy light.

lol @ gbauer ban..nws..

MORE light ouput - silverstar
NICER light output (closer to HID) - PIAA

i had the silverstars for awhile but wanted something closer to the HID so I got the PIAA. the actual light output is lower but is closer to the HIDs. i figured i didnt really need the light output since the HIDs have that covered.

well the small yellow ones on the site are already projectors, so the light out put is already going to be good...

I have the PIAA just to match the color of my HIDS. Silverstars are too yellow for me.

There are a bunch of group deals going on right now, check that forum and you should find several options.

It may sound funny but you can go with the off road lights which come with the wiring. You power it through your battery, ground it to your chassis and run an independent switch. Or you can wire it directly to your fog light switch.

Aside from that I've got aftermarket fogs and H3 silverstars.

The pictures don't do it justice, considering it was also taken with an old camera. None the less... it is decent.

I recommend if you want to spend the loot go with the HID kit in the GD section.

I used to have some fogs that were aftermarket, all you gotta do is find some fogs that are the same diamater as the oems. Pull out the box that your foglight sits in, put new fogs in there and voila.

I just recieved your email ken. Check your email. They were taken before it got dark dark...but when you see them it matches up well and the output is crazy.

Hope this helps. I got these from opertic on the group deal forum. I think the non bixenon 6k headlights and the h3 mini 6k fogs were 200 shipped to me.

Cheers

hm, well I'll take your word on it... difference is hard for me to detect, although I kinda see it. you had any reliability problems with your PIAA? A lot of people see to have burnout issues, my headlights have been alright so far though
