Painting Stillen Grille?

Has any one painted this stillen grille before?

http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=TRZFRM01&c=EX

I like this design over a mesh grille, however Im looking for a black grille. Is it possible to paint over this this type of material?

Well that grille comes up as an option when my 2K2 Max is put into there system.

As for the esthetics of the grill, your entitled to your opinion. I personally think that painting over the stock grill looks horrific....but people do it.

IMO, the trendz one looks horrible. (just an opinion) if you are going to buy a billet grille, you need to go with the classic style one from ebay. Here is the link
The installation was simple and I think it looks great. Some don't like it but they aren't driving the car or making the payments on it.

Does it bolt directly up to the stock locations? I have been looking to get these but not sure exactly how they attach. Can you provide pics or something?
BTW, the shipping from grille4u is insane. I contacted them and they offered a $5 discount. C@nts. Found a cheaper place on ebay by $15 for same grills.
Crucial, please post any relevant install instructions. Thanks.

The lack of grille choices for the 5th gen is disgusting.

Call a bodyshop and ask if they can paint it, im pretty shure they can, just prep might be a pita... better off checking out powdercoating though.

Ive always liked the stock 5.5 gen grille when a few cuts are made here and there. Why not try that instead, you will have something nobody else has.

IMO all those polished/chrome/billet grills remind me of a mack truck or a dodge pickup :/
