Just how rare is my maxima??

I bought my 3rd maxima after a long search for what I determined was the ultimated 5.5 gen for the maxima enthusiast. I'd like to know about how many were made with the options mine has, anyone know?

2002 SE 6-spd
HLSD
Navigation
black on black leather
BOSE
Seat airbags

all of the other available options that go without saying

not a TE obviously, as it is an 02. I do have 03 TE wheels though.

I looked for a long time so I know this is a very rare car...am I right to assume that maximas optioned like mine were ONLY special order vehicles?

I'm fairly sure this is probably the only one in Iowa, does anyone else have something like this in the midwest?

Ok, congrats I wouldn't mind it AT ALL! But I do like Polished Titanium for some reason.

get some pics up to check out this "rare" car.

IMO - I thought all the goodies where "options" anyway so they would have to be "special order"

Well, I can tell you on the org there are probably a dozen or so 6-speed & navigation optioned cars. Of those, its about 50-50 2002 to 2003. Most, if not all, have every other option available, as well. On that note, there are probably a couple of dozen autos with all the options, as well. So, it should be pretty safe to assume that Maximas with all options, at least 02 / 03 Maximas, represent less than 1% of all those riding around. This is probably due to the fact that the navigation option added $2000 when the car was new so not a lot of people wanted to get it... and those that did wanted everything else, as well!

All Maximas are "special order" in one way or another. Dealers fill out a buy list with the cars they want, including colors and options, so not a lot of dealers "don't know what they will be getting in" even though they all seem to like to tell you that. But, every so often, an individual or even a dealership will order a car speced out with every option. So, if you didn't get it brand new, it may be hard to know if someone ordered the car or a dealership just wanted a "flagship" in their showroom.

Don't know if that's what you were after or not but its what I know from my looking around the org and working with folks on the nav cd back-up swap... and I could be way off base!
