Climate control help - replacing oem nav with HU

I knew it wasn't going to be easy when I bought the car. 02 SE with the OEM Nav. My first thought was since it has a real climate control the replacement should be a GXE auto climate unit. I found one on ebay from an 01. I tear out the Nav unit and find that none of the plugs are anywhere close. I also assumed that like my previous toyotas that they would use subharnesses and adaptors on top of the factory dash harness instead of nissans having a different dash harness for every setup. So can anybody recommend what the best route is. I'm thinking grap a wiring diagram and find factory plugs for the climate control I bought and move wires over to the new plugs and hopefully it's that simple. Advise please. I've already got it torn apart and would like a real system by friday when I have to drive up to MA.

Ok I printed out the wiring diagrams for with nav and without and it looks like it would be a straight forward move of wires from one connector to another, if I had the connectors that go with the non-nav climate control.

The local nissan says they can't get just a connector you need the entire harness. I find this unlikely as I've don't it for toyota and my buddy who works at a chrysler dealership says they can get connectors no problem. Anybody know a dealership that can or is willing to?

Yes that is what I am planning on doing as soon as I can find the connectors. I'm planning on boxing up my entire working system and selling it. One downside to the nav unit setup though is the cd changer is in the trunk. But I'll be boxing up the nav, bose radio, all 5 speakers, amp, cd changer, all the wiring as long as none of it is impossible to get out. Wiring diagrams needed and the connectors that go to the nav unit. Not sure about the connectors to the radio and possible the trim piece since I hear it will be too wide of an opening for a regular sized cd plaer. My email is brutch1313@yahoo.com so keep in touch hopefully I can find connectors this week. If your bored feel free to check junk yards. Just need climate connectors from a GXE with the full climate not the temp slider.

So you have an '02 (5.5 gen) and you bought an auto climate control from an '01 (5th gen)? It's possible that the harnesses are different because the 5th gens have an "AMB" button and the 5.5 gens do not because the ambient display is in the guage cluster on the 5.5 gens. I don't know how different the units are otherwise but it's very possible that the harnesses are different. Maybe someone has a picture of the harnesses from a 5.5 gen with auto climate control w/o nav.

Well according to the wiring diagrams I printed both from 02 the connectors are completely different. The one for nav is M170 and M171, the climate control is M59 and M60. I would imagine there not interchangeable but maybe I need to go on a test drive with an 02 or 03 to see.
