Issues with p0430, pre cats.. does this look alright?
I've been having the p0430 code on my CALI SPEC 5sp 2k max with 125k miles. Ive had the o2 sensors checked and they are within voltage, very close however. I've already replaced my main cat (no change), and now I've been informed that the problem may lie in the pre-cats.
The twist is this: I was involved in an accident in my car a while ago, pretty bad actually, rear ended someone and when I saw the engine after the accident, the o2 plugs were pushed very close to the block and it seems that there is some physical damage on the exhaust. The pipe that the o2s plug into, pictured below seems bent and maybe the headers are damaged as well? Or maybe im just being paranoid... Could anyone offer some input? I'm thinking of buying a Y-pipe and maybe some o2's or simulators in hopes of fixing this for good.
