I have the speakers, door panels and everything off..but how to i get the stock speaker out of the bracket. The stuff that came with my aftermarket speakers isnt big enough to reach the holes. So how do i get the stock speaker out, i see no screws, nothing..and im not an audio noob, so this is killing me..

Stock speakers are part of the brackets. Unless you bought some aftermarket adapters, or made some out of MDF, your gonna have to hack the old speaker out of the casing and screw new speakers into it.

+1 on hacking the old speaker out. That is what I did. I just cut the cone out and broke the metal part off. Be careful the brackets are easily broken.

Just cut some 3/4" MDF spacers. Then use the stock hardware to mount them on.

Just rip out the factory speaker and screw the aftermarket speaker into the plastic factory bracket.

If you want to be creative, get a sheet of plexiglas and attach that to the door, then screw in your aftermarket speaker into the plexiglas. This gives you the option to use dynamat to reduce vibration from bass.

I've hacked up my speaker brackets to accomodate 2 different sets of aftermarket speaks, and they appear to be holding up just fine. My friends thought I was a genius when they saw me tearing out the stock speaker...then I revealed to them it was common practice hahaha.
