New Cattman Cat-back here!

I just want to say how much I love this exhaust system. maybe it's the relief from finally getting rid of the drone and loud clattery exhaust pipe, but it's just impressive how smooth and mellow the car sounds, and how neatly it tucks up into the undercarrige. The muffler shop quoted me like 45 minutes to do it but I'm pretty sure they were done in 30 tops. VERY very very mellow sounding, and whisper quiet at idle. Top quality looks and construction, you just can't go wrong! I did have ALOT of shipping issues but it was all DHL being !@%^@#!tards and Brian's a swell guy to talk to and makes sure everything's kosher. If you need anything he's got, go through him. VERY pleasant to deal with. I'll update his seller feedback soon no doubt.

...as an aside. I was eager to get this installed today. I told the guy in the shop to check the directions like 3 times, and I happen to have like a brief resonance rattle I think? so, before i go into a store(after the install and they were done for the day) I take a asphalt nap and look up under the main exhaust bracket. . .and i can see the weld bead! #%^@^$# I'm annoyed, BUT it doesn't appear to be effecting anything. . I think? Does someone have some info on this? I have already talked to brian(originally because i thought the removal of the lesser exhaust brace was strange) so I didn't necessarily address this specific instance. Is it worth prodding the shop into redoing it? is the exhaust alignment causing some kinda binding and that's why im occasionally hearing the metal? or should I even bother if it's all squared up?

I had to remove both cross-braces to install my system. Also, I used the heavy duty Nissmo rubber hangers.

Take some hose clamps and just tighten up the original hangers.

I thought cattman included part numbers for new hangers. They are suppose to be part numbers for SOLID rubber mounts from advanced auto/pepboys the walker brand.

I used a long flat screwdriver to bend the heatshield upwards sit wouldnt rub. Also used 3 hose clamps on the rubber hangers to get a perfect noise free fit.

Just need to get the B-pipe up off the cross-brace. I have a Frankencar mid-pipe and the Cattman rear section. I absolutely love this setup.

My problem is with the muffler hitting my Stillen 1rear valance on the right side. It's melted the paint onto the muffler. How does the hose clamps fix work?

If you're after hp, then headers are what you're after, not catbacks/mufflers.

if you can see the bead you may start to notice clunking when you go over bumps or make some turns. If you don't have any issues with it clunking or banging you can leave it alone.

well, Turns out is was the exhaust shield by the gas tank (not the muffler heat shield. so the guy twisted some metal and wiggled it thoroughly to ensure it was fine. I had to say im relieved that it was actually mounted correctly. Great pipes , I highly reccommend!
