Hello folks...I was laying in bed last night thinking about my car and well I realized I have a pretty long Maxima story on how I became a "Maxima Fanatic" and soon to be a "Maximaniac", this is useless information but oh well...

1995 or 1996(3rd Generation):

My mom had just crashed her Chevvy Berretta and totaled it in Meriden, CT since some lady left her POS Toyota "mailbox" in the middle of the freeway. Well after she got her insurance payout she went out car shopping. At the time I was 10. Well we stopped in a Mitsubishi dealer and there was a sweet *** 1994 Nissan Maxima GLE, loaded with your BOSE radio, leather, and all the ammenities available at the time...Well OMG I was one excited 10 year old. That night we went home without a car but I had a dream about the car (no joke!). The next day we went back and my mom decided not to buy the car for 13 grand since there was a question in the mileage in the car and in the records, I never forgave her. In the end she bought a 1994 Honda Accord EX, first year of production of the new kind. :cry:

1999 (4th Generation):

Well it was the winter of 1999, the new Maxima was excpected any day. My step brother was coming from Poland and my dads current 1994 Ford Probe was left for him (and since the probe had 217,000 miles he ended up getting a 1995 Geo Prizm). Well my dad went car hunting, he had always pretty much liked the Maxima *like father, like son* well we stopped into the Middletown Nissan Dealer and there was beutiful Sterling Mist 1999 Nissan Maxima SE, Special Edition, they made these to encourage people to buy the 4th gens right before the 5th gens came out. Well my dad instantly decided to buy the Maxima. At first I was so excited I mean dude this was an awesome car, 5-Speed yo. Well after a while I realized my dad didn't give a jack about the car since his girlfriend and her kids where beating the F*ck out of it, so I decided to stop giving it that daily wax coat...it was a sweet car until I started finding Mickey-D's under the seat and like cigarette ashes all over the dang dashboard.

2001(3rd Generation)-

Okay well I just turned 16, and I got my permit and it was time to start looking for a car. My friend Mike (MaximaRacer28 in the 3rd gen forum) who is younger than me and still couldn't drive and may I also say was on his second car lol at age 15 just got a 92 Maxima SE. I went with him and his dad to pick it up...The car was sweet, 5-speed nice rims IMO tints, and he had just put a cold air intake on it, I fell in love... I started looking for a third generation Maxima from then on, I hated going to his house seeing him waxing and cleaning that bad boy, lol...

2001 (***FiFTh GENERATION***)

Well I was originally looking at VW Jetta's since my uncle just got a '01 TDI. I told my mom over and over 3rd Gen Maxima. One day my moms boyfriend came in and is like hey guys theres a 01 Jetta VR6 My friend picked up at the auction. We rode down to the guys garage to realize the Jetta had been sold, it was really banged up bad. So we are about to leave and there is this immaculate 00 Maxima SE which was a recovered theft with only 2 rims missing and spares put on. I'm like IS that for SALE? He's like yah I just picked this one up too. I'm like OH MY GOD! Right then and their I paid for that bad boy. I was the happiest man in the world...

sent you a private message...i also would like to include that I don't buy cars from auctions because i save alot, because in fact i dont maybe just a lil' but its mostly cause you know whats wrong with the car and usually you buy cars with low mileage. Like wow someone stole the car and two rims i know whats wrong if i bought a used 00 maxima now its like hmm why would this person seel it after such a short time you know...

Oh seriously I could write an entire book about that. They eat like food inside car like jellow inside the thingys that open and close the window. His GF smokes inside with like a couple cig. holes in the seats. White ashes EVERYWHERE. He spilled a coffee all over cds in the middle thingy (he didnt put it into cupholders cause it was too big) and then dried off the cds and put them into the CD PLAYER!!! Jeez I'm tellin you its ridiculous. Car is so sweet but so beat up I can't even begin to tell you the details...

I think I should take that part away about like father, like son...In my car no eating, no drinking, and on som occasions shoes are left in the trunk in a plastic bag...
