Looking at the FAQ solutions for rewiring the Max's foglights to work when the headlights are not on all deal with tapping into the parking light power. Would this solution work just as well?

1) Remove the Headlamp RH relay.
2) Jumper across the following: 1 to 2 and 5 to 3 (this will allow power for the headlamp function and will allow power to the foglights even if the headlamps are off.

Is there something I overlooked? Will this cause anything adverse?

I would check out Russ's page on how to rewire fogs. He did it and I did it according to his page and it worked just fine. Takes about 1/2hr.
