tokico Hp/ Illumina question

Its time for me to upgrade my suspension since the stock is almost gone..
I decided on H&R springs for the front and back..

my question is are the tokico HP the same as the Illuminas without the adjustibility? Or are they 2 completely different things?

Im not looking for anything major...just something with good ride that doesnt bottom out and has a smooth ride...

Would Tokico blues + HR springs be a good combo... or do you suggest illuminas+HR.

i know this has topis has been beaten to death...but i honestly did not want to go through 100's of pages to find an answer.

thanks for your help

Well, if you can adjust one, and not the other, I'd say they're definitely different. I think you meant something more along the lines such as: When the Illuminas are on X setting, is the ride similar to that of the HP's.

Bottoming out depends on what/how low your springs are. H&R shouldn't Bottom out. A32's and A33's don't have much suspension travel as it is up front. My S-techs bottom out 75% of all the bumps I hit.

Depends if you want the adjustability.

But sooner seems to like that set-up, and well, from his sig it's obvious he's not talking out of his

The answer isn't in any thread. It's lies in the realm of your own decision making powers.
