Only the first few minutes does my AC smell like shiet. I tried cleaning the filter but no avail. Any other solutions?? Last stupid owner was a smoker. Don't know if that has any relevance.

They have a spray you put into the outside vents while the AC is blowing that kills the mold.

Could have come around from the previous owner not using inside air. It usually smells like a musty smell.

Under the car where the condinsation drips out , there is a product made to be sprayed in there and clean all the gack out,the drip hose goes right to the evaporator, its called Kooler Cleaner or some weird spelling like that, most auto parts stores have it cheap, also replace your cabin filter, It may help also.

If you don't like lysol use some other anti-bacterial. Here in NM we use tequila it'll kill anything.

It was not standard equipment on all 00-01's.

I know in Juarez anti-bacterials only make the bacteria dizzy so everyone uses Tequila. That explains the drunk NMSU girls though

The filter housing is there. All you have to do is put in the filter element.

stop in your car... just kidding. Run the car with the windows open and the A/C blower on...... change between inside air and outside air. Leave the windows open when parked in front of your house and the smell and humidity inside your car will be less
