how long for H&R's to settle

I got H&R and illuminas on my 02 and about 100 miles on them now and the front is still way higher than I thought it would be. The back is actually a little lower than I thought it would be. The back is perfect you can just barely see the top of the tire where the fender opening is but the front is about 1.5 inches higher. I wish I had a chance to take a picture so you could see. I even made a 3/16" spacer for the back to make it higher since I knew plenty of people say the back was just a hair lower and figured that should make it alot closer. What do you guys think.

your the perfect person to ask this...hows the ride quality..better than stock- comfort-wise? What are your illuminas set on?

100 miles is nothing...dont expect them to settle anytime soon. It normally takes 3k miles. I cant say for a fact but thats what I have noticed with springs I have had and with h&Rs on my old car

oh yea...when I had H&Rs all around (now I only have them in the back) the front was ALWAYS higher...a lot higher. It looks more even when you have stock springs in the back. You will never have an even stance with H&Rs

no it only takes a week, 2 weeks max for the springs to settle in. its normal for h&R springs that the front is higher than the rear. check out the houscor site, he has all the pics and of cars dropped.

H&R will always LOOK higher in the front. it isnt actually higher, it just looks higher because the wheel well is higher in the front

well that sucks but i'll deal with it. As for the ride it's perfect. Almost as soft as stock but smoother with them set on number 2 all around. That's where I started and didn't see a need to adjust them. I also have the sub fram connectors to which didnt do much but did smooth out the ride.

so how's the ride quality brusk....i know you live in hagerstown an i know the roads are not that bad...especially on I70, My cousin lives in hagerstown and im in baltimore, ROADS IN BALTIMORE ARE ROUGH, im getting my illuminas and H&R's installed on Monday, AND im sure from what ive heard that H-TECHS ARE harder than H&R's

based on what i saw on Housecor's site...The way the drop looks is OK FOR ME. seeing is how i dont want to harsh of a ride but i still want the stiffness, without too much of a drop because of these city streets.......and i drive hard so, H&R's seem good to me.

also those with H&R's how low did "YOU" personally trim your bumpstops?

dammit, was gonna put the H&R's on. If it's gonna give me a saggy a$$, I am putting H&R on front and my old maxspeed on the rear.

I would go with maxspeed on the front and h&r's on the rear. I've been thinking of getting a set of progress springs for my front to even things out. Especially now that I've got a system in the car the rear is sagging badly.

With 245/35/19 tires the rear has a 2 finger gap and the front has a 3 finger gap.

H&R drop...after 2 months or ~1500k

After ~5k miles the springs have settled in a bit more.

good thing you have 19'. Would look different with oem wheels and tires with the sagging.

no way I am putting maxspeed on front. gotta have smooth ride front, dont want my angel eyes to fall off. hehehehe.

Oh yes. It did look different with those 350z rims on didn't it? It was like 1 finger gap in the back. Still 3 in the front, but that's with my system installed.

Hmm okay then you want to go my route. Progress front. H&R rear.

If I can find "just" front progress springs somewhere that'd work out great.

The progress will even it out a bit more without sacrificing much of the ride. They're usually compared in the same category with H&Rs.

PS: Are your angel eyes the umnitza ones? Did you install yourself...because I may get a set next month and need help with wiring.
