Can an amplifier be added with the existing Bose system? I want it louder.

I would suggest you leave the BOSE system alone... Even though it isnt as loud as you want it now, its a quality sound sytem. If anything, but a closed kicker box with a couple of 12"s and and amp that'll be all the power you need. Buying an amp for just what you have wont be worth it...You're gonna keep wanting more and more sound so you might as well spring for a kicker box and do it right the first time!!

all the speakers in the bose system are pre-amped anyway so i dunno if this could work.. i recently decided that i want more sound too, but not specifically subs or anything, so i was thinkin about getting tweeters.. anybody have this done?
