Radiator fan rattle

Radiator fan rattle
I have a 2000 Maxima GXE and I have been having some problems with the radiator fans rattling. At first, the one on the passenger's side was rattling really bad, so I just unplugged it for the time being, which was about 3 months ago. (Car never overheated once, BTW) Now, the other one is starting to rattle. I have some vacation time from work and I would like to fix the problem.
I guess what I want to know is do I replace the motors, the fan blades, or would I need a whole new assembly?
Thanks in advance.

had the same exact thing happen on mine, one went then the other, i went a while before i replaced them, they were doing a lot of rattling when i finally replaced it. You will need to repacle the whole fan assembly, when i did mine about a year ago i paid about $110 shipped for a new one off Ebay.
Pretty easy job too, i don't think it took longer than 10-15 minutes switch it out.
