Centric rotors are OEM in some years of the Maxima. Some Powerslot rotors are also using Centric blanks. I don't see a problem with them.
Group deals are simple, you choose what you want then contact the seller for payment info (or in most cases, they've already posted it on the thread). Wait a couple of days and voila! Item is in your hands.
For 2k2/3's, i actually went with Autopartswarehouse for the rotors since it was cheaper than the Group Deal prices.

I wouldn't go that far. I've had warped rotors before, but after much testing - and if you'll read up on some of the threads here, the culprit are the OEM pads which deposit too much material on the rotors, which translates into vibrations when braking.
soundmike is right.
The thought of having warped rotors in almost all cases are actually friction pad material transferred unevenly to the surface of the disc. This uneven deposition results in thickness variation or run-out due to hot spotting that occurred at elevated temperatures. The rotors are most likely not warped.
You guys need to read up on this...

I found this site a great resource when understanding brakes, pads, rotors, etc.

i'm using those right now. they dont rust like the brembos. i have an 02, i have gone through the ortginals, 2 sets of brembos, and now i'm using the centrics. so far so good. it doesnt matter anyway i go through rotors like gas. i only have 60k on the car.

OEM rotors with Hawk HPS pads wont cause the problem
EDIT: i see that this was already addressed

I actually just replaced my fronts with Friction Master #CMX659 ceramic pads and Wearever/Bendix #YH145362 rotors. So far, I am extremely pleased with the feel of the brakes and little to no brake dust.
I have been pleased with the Wearever/Bendix rotors in the past on previous cars I've done, so I went with them again. Plus they always seem to be in stock at Autozone when I need them.
I too had OEM Nissan rotors (only 1 year old) that were installed prior to me purchasing the car back in April '06. About 5-6 months after owning the car, when breaking, the front end shook like a crack head after 2 days with no crack.

i just installed them last saturday..so far so good...
i think i didnt bed them properly though...is ther any way of knowing if i bedded them corrently?
i also have another problem. when i took off the rotors, i noticed that i have a slight problem with the piece that holds the rotor itself....idk what it is called, its a round looking piece between the rotor itself and the cv joint, anyway its kindda loose, not loose but its not sittin properly, i have a video on my phone im going to see if i can post it soon...get some feedback.

Count me to the list of having the same thing happen with AutoPartsWarehouse. What a ****ty organization.
So before I go through ranting with them about this crap...are these Centric Rotors atleast worth a damn? Mine are black, which will mismatch my rear rotors. Does this black eventually wear off?
I appreciate any input.

Centric rotors are fine. They're OEM and as well as the blank supplier to some other manufacturer (Again, Powerslot comes to mind).
The black coating is their answer to zinc coating. It's to prevent rusting in the non-swept areas. It will be a while before it wears off.

Another me too
I did the same transaction and got the same deal. Ordered Hawk HPS pads and Brembo front blanks from them. Got Centric rotors instead of Brembo. I think i will go with these but that will be the last part I order from them.
