Anybody got this HID kit from east nissan tuning?

I was doing some reading up on HID kits, and became interested... Has anyone had experience with this HID kit from east nissan tuning?

http://www.eastnissantuning.com/comp...art/Itemid,39/

It's very cheap ($185) and I was just wondering if anyone knew what their quality was like.

I'm assuming that this kit can fit my car, but what is this whole "plug and play" thing that I was reading about in the other threads, and is this kit one of those?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I don't get why people keep asking about cheap HID kits when we have a great sponsor where you can get it from. Automax is one of the best sponsors on this forum. Plus he won't screw you over if your HIDs go out.

You will loose your high beams with that kit. If you want there kit, get their bi-xeon kit if you want to keep your high beams. But like said above, just go through a sponsor. Take a look in the group deals forum.

Oh, I didn't even know about that. I just posted for the operatic to PM me. I would like to keep my high beams, but in the threads I read, people have advised to stay away from the bi-xenon HID kits though, but I didn't see why... why is that?

I'm still a little confused about the "plug and play" thing too. Is it really as easy as it sounds to install? Just plug them into your existing sockets, or what?

yeah hid kits are great, but why not go even better with OEM equipment
go buy ballasts on fleabay and get kit bulbs on ebay if u wish
even better, do a projector retrofit

yeah its plug n play because it uses a relay
go to howstuffworks.com and look for relay....
just plug in the switch side to one bulb connector and connect battery terminals
then put bulbs in socket n voila

edit: sorry, actually some cheap HID kits might not provide a relay wiring harness, so there is a chance that all u have to do is connect ballast to stock connector
if so, u also run a risk of burning out your stock wiring cuz most likely they will tell u stupid **** like change your stock fuse from 15A to 30A

how stupid is that? wtf is the point of the fuse if u gonna let that much current run through the wiring when it's not supposed to..

I have a Polestar HID kit H3 application (5000k). The wires were cut and spliced since I used them in my fogs. But you can splice any bulb harness into them and use it for any bulb application. I'll sell it for $80 shipped anywhere in US

Yeah, I think I'm gonna go through operatic, who is a sponsor on here. $280 shipped is an amazing price. I never thought I could get HID's for my car that cheap! I guess I'm gonna delay paying off my credit card now.. lol.. Does anybody have any pics of the 6000k or 8000k kit from 3Bspec (that's the company that operatic uses) installed on their maxis?

I know the same kelvin rating can look different from different companies, so what's why I'm asking if anybody has 3Bspec 6000k lights on their car

I am going to be able to have bixenon projectors in my max(with e-bay headlight) for about that much, but I am just lucky I found a good deal. Seriously though, save up your money for a projector retrofit. Once you go HID projectors, you never go back. At least I haven't . Go to HIDPLANET forums university and read up if you think I am wrong.

everyone knows that projector retrofits are nicer than kits, but sometimes, people just don't have the time, money, patience, and knowledge to do a perfect retrofit. and i am one of those person. I have a kit in my max and it lights up the road fairly well, and i am pretty content with it. different strokes for different folks.

I haven't found anyone here who has those eBay headlights with H.I.D. projectors except Dr. Roy. If anyone else has done that, then would you please post some pics of the headlights for us (With Lights On)?

Very true. I did all kinds of planning, bought some extra tools, headlights, and extra parts, sat down, and actually opened a couple of headlights. But I never had the time I wanted to play around with everything, so I ended up having someone else do it for me...

To those who have installed bi-xenon kit on a 5th gen

I'm trying to think of places to mount all of these 4 ballasts, and I'm thinking mount both of the drivers side ballasts next to eachother on the front of the battery, and mount the one passenger side ballast to the side of the fuse box, and the other one in back of the headlight assembly... is that a good setup? any areas I should stay away from?

the ballasts came with brackes, i just screwed em on to the frame of the car right behind each headlight. as i have used epoxy to sealed up the ballast, i wouldn't have to worry about water seeping in. and for the fogs, i used double sided tape and taped it to the side of the car (inside) and also sealed it with epoxy. hope this helps.

this is thom from eastnissantuning. I was directed here to vouch for the hid kit.

The kit comes with a year warranty. I installed the bi-xenon kit on my b14 sentra. Works perfect. Infact my friend with a lotus spent $600 on his kit, turns out my kits have the same ballast.

Markup some people charge is insane, they claim that it is because it is higher quality. In most cases it is just the same kit, but with a sticker on it.
