steering wheel vibrates while driving

Hi all,
i have a 03 se. The steering wheel vibrates while i am driving. not while braking. i had that problem a year ago and the dealership resurfaced the rotors and that fixed it. I think i had this steering wheel vibrating problem for quite some time but i think its getting more noticleable now.

it happens at around 30 to 40 mph and then around at 65 - 80 mph.

what should i do. go to the dealership, Courtesy Nissan is very close to my house. or should i go to a mechanic or what. and what could it be. the car is under warranty. it has only 41k on it. so thats y i am thinking if i should go to a neighborhood mechanic or not.

what do u guys think it could be. everything in my car is stock.

Thanks
Faisal

When the steering wheel shakes while driving, its likely a balancing issue. Take it to Mavis or the like and get it Balanced. They usually have specials.
Balance/Rotate - 29.95
The Works for like 79.95. Works includes Balance/Rotate and Align.

Check your bearings. if it has just started happening all of a sudden try take a high pressure hose behind your rims, mite be mud or dirt got behind there, happened to me this weekend threw my car comepletly out of wack.

Check your rotors for warpage. Mine shook because I put spacers on my front end that didn't sit completely flush on my hubs.

I had that problem 2 weeks ago and my homeboy that has an AE had the problem also before me. he told me after a while his went away. I went and got a used tire with the same amt of tread (same tire) and got it balanced. this past whole week its been fine now no vibrations or funny feeling at all now. i even took the car to a buck 20 for kicks one night and its like nothing ever happend. your best bet is to go get a balance on both front wheels like i did. i know a place in Oak Cliff that did it for me $10 per wheel.
