Issue when starting

Up until a couple of weeks ago when I started my car i could crank it for about half a second and the car would fire right up with no issues but here lately about half the time it does not start the first time I crank it and the second time I crank it I might have to crank it for maybe 2 to 3 seconds before it actually fires. After it does start though it runs smooth as silk just as always no misfires or anything like that. It has about 108k miles on it now. I bought it with 70K and really haven't done any work on the engine itself but I know the coils were replaced before I bought it. I am thinking maybe it needs a tune-up, plugs or something like that..

Any ideas? Thanks!

If the plugs are still original then i would replace them plus try maybe replacing the fuel filter as after 108k miles its probably pretty dirty

Fuel filter on a 5th gen requires dropping the fuel tank, and as such, most nissan dealers recommend not replacing them. Just an FYI.

Are you sure i thought you could access the fuel filter by removeing the rear seat?
