Easy way to re-aim fogs?

Does anyone know how to easily re-aim the fogs? The way i've done it was to jack the car up, aim, bring the car back down and check where the light falls of on a mark i placed on the wall--then i repeat until i get it right.

Anyone have a better idea?

Thanks.

take out your headlights and do it while the car is on the ground..... theres more room that way and beats jacking the car up and guessing the whole time

He's asking about the fog lights not the headlight, fog lights does not have aiming screws like the headlights. It's fixed, unless you removed your housing of the foglight in the first place and put it back, probably didn't re-inserted back correctly to seat in.

I remember the back of foglight housing had the screw mechanism for light aiming the last time I had changed the bulbs. But that was about 4 years ago though so my memory may have deteriorated since then.

Thanks guys, i'll try that... seems simple enough.

Fanatic, perhaps with 2k1. On a 2k2 there is a screw in the back you can use to change the aim of the bulb.

I can verify on 2k2 and 2k3 there is an aiming mechanism

here is the simplest ways. turn your steering all the way to the right, if you want do the left side and so on for the other sides. Take off the plastic nut that's holding the spalsh guard from fender (you don't need to take off the whole spalsh guard. make sure the space is enough for your hand). then slide your hands with screw drivers.

just take the headlights out, its not hard and there plenty of access to the alignment screw. use a nubby screwdriver, its easier that way. ive trid just about every way, and thats the easiest.

I did it with the headlights out, it's still off a bit but better than before. I can't do this without lifting the car, if i did it from the ground, since the car is dropped.

Thanks everyone for your tips!
