headlight issues, brights and daytime lights work

hey guys, tried different bulbs and still same result, high beams work fine, daytimes work fine, but for some reason, night time driving lights dont work.. it is only on one of the lights. I have checked fuses as well.

^ Yup. Start unplugging the harnesses and testing for the right voltage at different switch settings.

no i do not have an hid kit..
mechanic said i need a new relay for the daytime running lights.

he also said there is not enough ground coming to the light, he said u can ground it yourself but it is not advised..
thoughts... suggestions?

it's your daytime running light control module. Left front corner white box behind headlight
If it was a relay unless separate left and right depends on that wiring diagram both would not work. Besides he can test for power and ground at the relay. Preety easy check

There is nothin wrong afaik with making your own ground as it's just a light. However you should not need to ground it yourself as it's just a band aid if it fixes the problem. Also if your goign to a mechanic why isn't he fixing it instead of you posting on here??? relays are cheap throw him $50 bucks and bamn your golden.

again to do it yourself: take out multimeter and start checking. if you don't know how to use one ask a friend co-worker etc. a simple voltage test is a click away good luck!
