Air Conditioner Using Extra Gas?
theres major drag from a stop in the manual with the AC on. it dips so bad b4 it gets somewhat acceleration. i usually use my AC with people in the car, and if its me i never use it. but these past few days whEwWWw this Tx heat is no joke, so i turned it on while almost on E haha i've made it far too
i drove 350 miles and i am between the middle bar and the bar underneath it with ac on the whole 5-6 hours.
im a 6 speed btw.
seems that the a/c barely affects anything on the hwy. gas mileage and city driving isn't as friendly
on a side note, does anyone know why when driving dbw w/ a/cthat the rpms like to drop much faster between shifts?

I have ot disagree ith the majority here. I use my Max for work (Sales Rep) and I see a quite a change in my gas budget in the summer months.
Right now $20.00 gets me by for two days. In the winter it will get me by for nearly three days.

well I usually put the A/C on when I am going above 45mph and keep the windows open below that, so I haven't seen much of a change. 500 miles to the tank?? the closest I have gotten to that with conservative highway driving is 400 miles. this summer I have been averaging around 350 miles to the tank with about 40/60 highway/city conservative driving, which aint too bad(in my 5th gen).
