Add a external Cooler, cost you about $40 some odd buck but its worth it. I installed mine and i been happy since, only cooler i ever noticed on my 2k 5th gen is for power stearing,.. why i dont know but its there. The auto trannys are cooled via a small cooler built into the radiator of automatic cars, the tranny fluid is cycled through there, you will see 2 lines on the bottom left near your tranny if your looking from the front, those are the cooler lines.

where would i ge this tranny cooler? ive heard of em, never actually thought i needed one, but seeing as our trannys get so harsh after running for several hrs., im going to go ahead and get it once i return from tampa.
do all shops do this installation, such as Midas?

I just installed a Hayden cooler. Pep Boys, Auto Zone, or Advanced Auto sells them. I got the smallest size based on the sizing guide on the box. Installation isn't too hard. There is a write up on the org about installation.
