Can anyone recommend a dealer in Orange County, CA that is familiar with the tranny fix. I've taken my Max to a couple of dealers without success.

Thanks.

What ever you do, don't go to HUNTINGTON BEACH NISSAN. Santa Monica nissan is good, I don't know if they have a service department, since they are very small.

Have you tried Nissan of Garden Grove, formerly Quality Nissan? We were happy with them years ago with the old 86 Maxima. Their parts dept. is great. No Nissans at home now, just Infinitis. Costa Mesa Infiniti sucks. They denied any problem existed with the tranny and were unwilling to help in any way. Cerritos Infiniti has been very good to me, replaced TCM under the first TSB, then solenoids, then TCM again under the 039a TSB.
Punkdork www.punkdork.net and Y2KevSE have the TSB on their websites.
