Saw this when I was topping up the MT lube. It was empty and dry, It sits kinda below the battery. What does it do, and is there supposed to be some type of tube or something that runs into it?

Hmm...nice to know that there's some useless stuff under the hood..makes me feel better about not knowing what it was.
