Broken fan
One of the radiator fans stopped spinning causing temperature gauge to go to H (HOT) while idling or driving locally. However, while driving on the highway, the temp stays normal. 2 Days later the SES light appeared. Can a broken fan cause the SES light to turn on or did something else break while driving with one fan?
If not, check the relay, they should both come on with the ac, only one comes on without the ac when demand calls for it, they will both come on if its really freaking hot out to, but most cases its just one unless the ac is on.

Das, I'm definitely taking your advice about the fan motor. Meanwhie I was looking at the fuses, I couldn't find one for the fan(s).
I will also appreciate if anyone has a pic of where the thermostat is located...Thats also something to be checked but I don't know where it is located.
Professor, I'll look at the relay tomorrow. Even when AC is on, only one fan is spinning causing the anti freeze to boil. The temperature gauge goes to H (HOT). One fan was spinning slowly and then it eventually died. Is that the relay, motor, or fuse?

look at relays E27, E28 and E31 in the box right behind the driver side headlight, between the headlight and battery. then look on the diagram in the drivers fuse box for the fuse (im sure you already did that and didnt find one, so maybe its not there).
