My buddy has a 03 Maxima and he soddered (idk how to spell that) his own on to the piece that holds onto the actual bulb... he put 3 5mm white Leds in and he said it wasn't hard... I'll try to get a pic of it if you'd like.

The licence leds are type 194 from v-leds.com it looks blueish because of the reflection from my majestic blue car paint, its white at night.

Notice how the bright leds shines on to the ground.

This is the clear sidemarker leds they are white when look at, and my 8k aftermarket hids.

I looked through the factory service manual and other websites and discovered that the instrument cluster bulbs were 194. When going to change them out, to my suprise, I found that they were 74's, not 194's. Did anyone else also get this pleasant suprise????

I was thinking the same thing... I was just about to buy some LED's for my dome light from autolumination.. would the "Superstar" LED bulb (3rd product down on this page http://autolumination.com/festoon.htm) work in the dome lamp?

I have the white maps and dome then blue for the doors cuz when u use the maps and dome light ur trying to read, which would be perfect and the blue will get annoying after a while which is why i put them on the doors they will only lit when the door is opened and is a perfect head turner for people passing by. I have a pics of that set up on the 1 page.

I got my dome light on ebay, it stays dim when on the "DOOR" position. Even after I park and lock my car. Any solutions to this?

other than adding a resistor i dont think so
its odd because my LEDs in the TSX stay dimly on when in off and off when in door

but leds dont draw that much energy so if u drive ur car like once a week ur good
your batteery wont die

I've had these LEDs for half a year now and these are plug and play no rewiring required. They are extremely white and use very little power in fact I left them on in my cars for 3 days and was still able to start the engine.

They are bright. I bought 5mm leds on ebay and just custom made my own to fit into my max. You will need resistors, circuit board, and the LEDS.

Like this..I made it to resemble the 168/194 bulbs:

But i tried putting them in like a million times!! is there any modification i need to do to these lights to make them work? he says that "the base pin is positive terminal and the metalbody is negative terminal." its plug and play right?

Be careful with these L.e.d bulbs guys... i bought a pair from ebay and the taillight led bulbs i installed actually affected my remote starter from working. It took me a while to notice cause i dont use my remote starter often , i started noticing under braking my clock would get dim and when i would let off it would go back to normal. I finally just took them out, they werent even brighter than my stock Sylvania bulbs that were in the car.
